Skincare Routines Based on Your Skin Type
When creating a skincare routine, it is important that you choose products that work best with your specific skin type. If you have dry skin, you may need products that add more hydration to the skin versus someone who has oily skin. This week in the blog, we are going to be going through different skincare routines for normal, dry, oily, and combination skin types.
For dry or normal skin…
Dry skin tends to be tight and flaky, while normal skin tends to be more balanced. Both skin types can benefit from extra hydration to help plump and moisturize the skin. If your skin type falls into either the dry or normal category, we recommend the following skincare routine:
For Morning:
- Step 1: Cleanse skin with Forever Clean Gentle Cleanser to gently cleanse away dirt, impurities, and makeup while helping replenish and restore balance to the complexion.
- Step 2: Help firm the look of the under eyes with Tone Up Niacinamide Firming Eye Serum to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and crow’s feet.
- Step 3: Help brighten skin with Go with the Glow Niacinamide Drops to help reduce the appearance of dark spots while keeping skin looking smooth, even, and moisturized.
- Step 4: Hydrate with Tropical C Brightening Vitamin C & Peptide Moisturizer to help brighten the appearance of dull, lackluster skin with a rich blend of tropical fruit extracts and an energizing peptide.
For Evening:
- Step 1: Gently cleanse away dirt, impurities, and makeup with Forever Clean Gentle Cleanser to help replenish and restore balance to the complexion.
- Step 2: Refresh the look of under eyes with Rescue C Brightening Vitamin C & Peptide Eye Cream to help refresh the appearance of tired-looking eyes and give the look of a well-rested glow.
- Step 3: Help plump the look of skin with Ceretin Boost Age Defying Retinol Serum to hydrate skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Step 4: Hydrate with Get A Lift Firming Facial Cream Moisturizer to help tighten, lift, and restore the look of skin’s youthful resilience.
For Oily or Combination Skin…
Oily skin tends to be shiny with excess oil production, while combination skin contains both normal/dry and oily skin, with excess oil typically occurring in the T-zone (aka the forehead, nose/cheeks, and chin). If your skin type falls into wither the oily or combination category, we recommend the following skincare routine:
For Morning:
- Step 1: Cleanse skin with Sea Fresh Purifying Gel Foam Cleanser to refresh skin, leaving it looking purified and conditioned.
- Step 2: Help reduce the appearance of dark spots while keeping skin looking smooth, even, and moisturized with Go with the Glow Niacinamide Drops for brighter-looking skin.
- Step 3: Help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and crow’s feet with Tone Up Niacinamide Firming Eye Serum to help firm the look of the under eyes.
- Step 4: Hydrate with Tropical C Brightening Vitamin C & Peptide Moisturizer to help brighten the appearance of dull, lackluster skin to help skin appear more luminous.
For Evening:
- Step 1: Cleanse skin with Sea Fresh Purifying Gel Foam Cleanser to refresh skin and promote a smoother-looking complexion.
- Step 2: Give your skin a shot of age defying benefits with Ceretin Boost Age Defying Retinol Serum to hydrate skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Step 3: Refresh the look of under eyes with Rescue C Brightening Vitamin C & Peptide Eye Cream to help give the look of a well-rested glow.
- Step 4: Hydrate skin with Cloud Cream Gel-to-Water Hydrating Essence Moisturizer to provide hydration deep into the skin for a plumper, younger-looking appearance.
