Here are 5 tips to help you develop an effective work from home routine
1. Wake Up Early
It can be tempting to hit the snooze button and roll out of bed at the last minute but waking up late can affect your routine. Try getting up at the same time you normally do for work or school and take advantage of not having to sit in traffic. Spend this time getting your head in the right space by taking a mindful approach to your morning. This is also the perfect time to set your priorities for the day.
2. Ease into Your Day
After you’ve put on your pot of coffee try stretching or meditating. This can help to set you up for a more productive day by helping to melt away stress and tension early on. We recommend using a face mask during this time to prep your skin for the day. The Blue Agave Mask is perfect for hydration. This ultra-refreshing face mask is packed with our PÜR proprietary Energy Complex of green tea, ginseng and Vitamin B that helps smooth the appearance of skin and refine the look of skin tone and texture.
Or If you are looking to help detox your skin, try our cult favorite Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mudd Masque. Maximize your everyday regimen by adding this detoxifying mask into your skin care routine to help refine the look of pores, exfoliate away dead skin cells and clarify the appearance of skin with a blend of natural clays and soothing botanical ingredients.
3. Get Dressed for the Day
Now, who doesn’t love sweatpants and messy hair? As tempting as this may be, getting dressed, following your normal skin care routine and putting on a little makeup can help give you more energy and motivation. Plus, if your boss decides to do a team video chat you can ensure you are looking your best! Go for a natural look or… if you’re in the mood, glam it up! Now is the perfect time to experiment with your looks!

4. Take Breaks
Sitting behind a computer all day can cause stiffness and fatigue, try stepping away every few hours to stretch your legs or grab another cup of tea or coffee. You can also take this time to go over your priorities for the day, check-in with your team and make sure you are staying on task. Use this time to reflect and readjust if needed.
5. Choose a Stop time
It’s much easier to stay on task when you are in the office but when working from home the lines can become blurred, therefore it is important to choose a time to end your day. This is the time to ensure that you have executed your priority list, check-in with your team and “pack up” for the day. As much as you may want to work all night overexerting yourself can actually have an adverse effect. Your boss and your team are relying on you so make sure you get plenty of rest after your work is done.
